Saturday Part Two

We celebrate any occasion with a get dressed up and go out to dinner date.

For my birthday dinner we visited Figaredo's Bistro which is just down the street from the Martha Washington Inn. We each ordered a different seafood/pasta dish and a salad. Both were excellent. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

These photos were taken at the Inn. The restaurant was very busy and it's in quite a small space. I didn't want to intrude on the other diner's experiences with our picture taking.

For our dinner date I wore a black jacket and a white Portofino shirt from Express. The waxed denim jeggings are from Chico's.

The Calvin Klein belt and old Kenneth Cole Reaction clutch are from T.J.Maxx. The Nine West heels are several years old. The earrings are from Chico's and the ring was a gift from Mr. Mickey a few years ago.

Mr. Mickey snapped this photo of a church steeple close to the bistro. Isn't he a great photographer?

Thank you for joining us on this journey through midlife and beyond.

The second fifty years really are the best!

I will heartily second Ms Eleni's comment about your being consistently beautifully dressed for each occasion! You are never overdressed or inappropriatelty dressed. Just a thought: your choice of jeans instead of "dress" pants" gives your outfits an updated edge without going "over the edge". That can make all the difference between chic and frumpy. Still working on that one...
