Our temperatures finally dipped enough to wear my all-time favorite look on Friday.
There was a little swagger in my walk all day.
This look fits my personality to my core, but it isn't appropriate for our weather or the event very often here in east Tennessee. When I slip into a faux leather jacket with jeans and boots, I feel like my twenty-year-old self with better judgment.
The jacket is an old favorite from Stein Mart. The double-strand Akola Project necklace is from Monkee's of Johnson City. The gray jeggings are from Chico's. The black cashmere tunic by Vince and the French Connection boots are from Saks Off 5th.

Loving it all! XXOO
As usual you look great Susan! It finally got cold here in Alabama today too.
I wore my silver cuff I ordered from you yesterday with a black top, back leggings, silver cross and earrings....got a lot of compliments on the outfit and cuff too! I think I'll wear it again today to my grandson's 1 year old birthday party....Mimi's can be stylish too!
I absolutely loved reading "like my 20 year old self....with better judgement" What a great sentence and how VERY true!
Swag on, Susan! I love this look!! That tunic with the hi-lo hem looks great, and I love those necklaces! So me!😊🎉🎉
Yes, love that phrase; "like my twenty year old self...with better judgement"! We don't have to wish to be young again. We can look hawt and have all the good sense we've gained over the years.
Susan your hair is styled so beautiful!
oohhh. momma is looking hot! Great outfit. And it looks perfect on you.

Susan, I have read your blog for years and your recent post about your weight loss had me wondering when your blog started. I searched the side bar and went to 2010 and just red Toddy Time for Daddo. As I wipe away the tears I note that today is December 20th - exactly 5 years to the day of that post. What a gracious and thoughtful tribute to a neighbour and friend. I am very touched and will now go back and read all the older posts that I have missed.
Thank you
"I feel like my twenty-year-old self with better judgment." Love it...
