Jacket With An Attitude

Wearing one edgy item with basics shows you know what is going on in fashion without looking too trendy.

I found this biker style faux leather jacket embossed with a reptile texture at Stein Mart a few weeks ago.

Mr. Mickey and I went out to dinner to celebrate eight years and eight months of dating.

The black ponte skirt is from Chico's last year. The earrings are from B Dazzled in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, and the ring was a long-ago gift from Mr. Mickey.

I found the shoes at Saks OFF 5th. They are very comfortable, so you will be seeing them often.

You always present yourself beautifully. You are truly an inspiration to women of all ages to take good care of themselves. I love your selection of the jacket and skirt with hose, sharp shoes and accessories. Thank you for helping us older women look attractive by looking to you as an example.

You did a beautiful job assembling this outfit. Everything is perfect from the jacket color and cut to the selection of your accessories. From the sources of the purchases sounds like you are a smart shopper as well. Just found your blog and am enjoying it. Thanks

The jacket is fabulous! You have such a good eye for selecting wardrobe pieces. Love everything about your outfit. Will look for the jacket in other stylings.

Once again, you have showed us a great example of how just one "on trend" item can elevate basic wardrobe staples and keep one from looking boring and "old". I have been following your blog now for a few months and your ideas and outfits are very instructive. You have motivated me to be more calculating and selective with my clothing choices. You look great every day and you are showing us that we all can too. With your great advice, I am revamping my wardrobe! Thank you Susan. You rock!
