Another Sweater

A longer light weight sweater over a tank and slim fitting pants is one of my favorite combinations for an outfit. Add an interesting long necklace and I'm ready for a dinner date with dear friends.

The pants, sweater and necklace are from Chico's. The sweater is now on sale at Chico's. The tank is from Stein Mart but I love the way Chico's tanks fit and also how they look after you wash them a few times so I have become a loyal fan. You will see lots more tanks from Chico's here!

The clutch is old from T.J.Maxx. The shoes are old from Kohl's.

Thank you for reading.
I hope your day is filled with great things!

Love the outfit especially the long sweater from Chico's. Is that from this season? I need that for a cruise I am going on in the fall.

Thank you for the comment BTC. I have updated my post on this sweater. It is now on sale at Chico's. I bought it on line last month.

I love the longer sweaters. Chicos is one of my go to stores. Can I ask how tall you are? I'm not sure the longer sweaters would look flattering on me. BTW, I really enjoy your blog and the interesting backgrounds you use. Thanks

I also love the fit of Chico's tanks and I love their SoSlim pants and Travelers (wore it all at BlogHer!).

Beautiful outfit. I never saw that sweater before.

Beautiful background, too.

Thanks for the updated post. I found it online but only in sz 1. I need a sz 2 :-(

I love all your outfits! You are one classy lady!

I am 5 feet seven inches tall and I weight 145 pounds to help you visualize the proportions of this outfit on your own frame. I have short legs so I almost always wear a higher wedge or a block heel with ankle pants or cropped pants.

I find I buy all my pants at Chico's, somehow they fit me so well. Maybe its the slightly stretchy fabric and of course it is the different lengths in each size. They really are my go-to store even if the prices are a bit higher than other places. Better pay up for something that fits well than be dissatisfied with a cheaper item from elsewhere.

Very pretty! So glad you answered the question about your height and the long sweater. You wear the longer sweaters so well.

I was curious too, how tall you are . You are shown in the pictures you are tall and lean( no trace of short legs ).Longer sweaters are flattering on you and that one with black and white patterns is very special in combination with the red tank and the long necklace .

Susan - After reading all the reviews on this cardigan on the Chico's page (most saying it runs large), I went ahead and ordered it in a sz 1. I really hope it fits (and looks as good on me as it does on you!). I love all the outfits you wear, and aside from your shoes (I can't wear much over a 1" heel), I can wear most of what you wear. I hope we don't run into each other in Blowing Rock (we go there frequently) wearing the same outfit ;-)
