Spring Fashions at Belk

Michael Kors has arrived at my local Belk store! It is so new that they were still setting up the department today.

Skinny jeans are still an item for spring. I've paired these white ones with a black knit tank of my own and this fabulous buttery black jacket with ruched three-quarter sleeves. The necklace is by Erica Lyons, and my own nude heels are by BCBGeneration.

There were many crisply tailored shirts, sweaters, jackets, and the ubiquitous khaki pants in the Lauren section.

The three-quarter sleeves of this pink and white stripe shirt have no buttons, just an open cuff. Perfect for an easy casual look without having to turn them up each time they slip down. I am wearing it with khaki ankle pants and my own Kenneth Cole Reaction sandals.

Every woman in my family goes to Belk when she needs a dress. They are known as the south's dress address.

This wrap detail dress is by Ralph Lauren.

I found so many great dresses I had a difficult time narrowing them down to three!

This royal blue knit dress with three quarter length sleeves was available in several colors.

For the bride or groom's mother, there were many special occasion dresses for women of every age. This blue-gray sleeveless dress came with a matching bolero jacket.

Belk also has a large selection of beautiful clutch bags that look really smart with dresses.

It was great fun chatting with all of you who showed up for the photoshoot today. I hope you found as many great items as I did!

We do not have a Belk...but you just made me wish I did. I first noticed them when they sponsored the last Project Runway...you look fabulous in everything...I can see why your decisions were difficult!

Susan, Was the blue dress Ralph Lauren, also? Would that cover up a tummy? Thanks! Diana

Diana, The blue dress was not Ralph Lauren. I'm sorry I didn't write down the label name but they have several variations and colors of that style. It is very flattering if you are like me and have a thick waistline or a tummy.

You look great in all of your choices! I don't have Belks here in MN, looks like a good store. I love the Kors outfit on you and so many great looking dresses.

Such pretty things! After this harsh winter, I think we are all looking forward to wearing spring clothes. You look fab, as usual. May have to get some white skinnies...you wear yours very well, and they would be very versatile.

Having recently lost 41 pounds it was such a pleasure to find your blog, facebook and Polyvore outfits. Since I needed to sort out my closet and did not want to do it using silly amounts of money, your sdvice, examples(Polyvore outfits) and photos of your own gorgeous dressing habits have inspired me to start a much happier chapter in my life- yes I have often found finding the right outfit for an occassion I both had in my closet and was happy with, difficult.

I am enjoying looking for choice pieces to fill the gaps in my wardrobe and wearing them.

I have read through your entire blog twice and have found things that I missed the first time- I was so excited to be reading good, helpful life tips I managed to miss a few.

I look forward to your posts on your blog not only to see your stunning clothing selection but to see the photo's of the wonderful places you visit. I live in the UK and really appreciate beautiful architecture and gorgeous scenery.

Your natural beauty is only rivalled by your sparkle. Thank you for making my 50's awesome.Lynne
